Our comprehensive Franchise Operations Manual equips you with the strategy and foundational knowledge to open your Raining Berries franchise. We provide close assistance in an array of areas to ensure our Franchisees are taken care of at each step:

As soon as the Franchise Agreement is executed we introduce you to your Operations Support Team. You will be assigned an Operations Business Consultant who will work closely with you during the Business Start-up Process and then on-going to maximize time efficiencies, expense controls, risk mitigation, revenue and profitability, and quality assurance.


Raining Berries welcomes franchisees and their teams with open arms. We pride ourselves on customer service and strict operational standards. That's why we developed a multi-level training program delivered by way of online training; classroom training; and on-site, pre-opening and on-going hands-on training at your location. We are committed to spending the necessary amount of time with your team and empowering them with our culture, passion, and drive to deliver the finest onboarding experience.

We start with a new Franchisee Orientation, held within 30 days after the Franchise Agreement is executed. Then approximately 8 weeks prior to the opening of your location, you and your key operator(s) will complete the Raining Berries “Bean University” Training Program. The training is __ weeks and takes place in Wesley Chapel, Florida. During this time, you will also begin building relationships with your ongoing support system which will include an Operations Business Consultant who will continue to partner with you after your store is open on all aspects of business operations.

Employee training can be one of the biggest ongoing challenges for franchisees. So we’ve created tools to help. The Franchisee Managed Training Program provides a scalable resource, enabling franchisees to conduct training for their own employees. This innovative program saves franchisees both time and money, so they can better build their local Raining Berries brand.

If there’s a single objective behind all of our training, it’s to enhance performance for the Franchisees. So please forgive us if we’re a bit obsessive about it. It’s just that we know the difference a well-trained “brand ambassador” can make in your restaurant. From the way inventory is maintained to the way your customers are greeted. You see, the thing about training people is that they’re… well, people. That’s why all Raining Berries’ training reflects the latest thinking in the learning industry and includes tools for engaging all the learning styles. Developing talent is one of our core values. We’re dedicated to developing talent within our system so our people are positioned to enhance performance.

Product Distribution - Product Sourcing

We’re proud to be involved in the vertically integrated process of procuring and producing simply the best coffee, from farm to cup. Raining Berries harvests only the finest African coffee. Strategic partnerships afford us the opportunity to distribute our coffee from our roasting facility to your store in a timely and cost-effective manner, and all in the best interest of our franchisees.

Purchasing Power and Supplier Selection

Our bulk buying power and supplier selection process enables us to pass on to our franchisees extremely competitive pricing on high quality products. Our product development and procurement team works with only the best suppliers to ensure they meet our high quality standards in their products and in their customer service while offering competitive and fairly priced products and services. We also ensure that our Suppliers treat their employees fairly as part of our vetting process. This translates into favorable food costs, and more, for our franchisees.

Real Estate and Site Selection

We’ve all heard of the importance of “location, location, location.” Our real estate team studies demographics, traffic patterns, and rents to find the ideal real estate for you. Our professionals then negotiate the lease to make sure you get the best deal possible. We’re with you throughout the process until the site is secured and approved.

We offer assistance through a systematic site selection and lease procurement process. Our internal team, along with knowledgeable retail real estate brokers, assist with site identification, site evaluation, letter of intent submittals, lease negotiations and lease review. From demographics to traffic counts, we utilize market intelligence software to help ensure the site meets specific Raining Berries criteria.

Design and Construction

We also offer assistance through an efficient design and systematic construction process. Our knowledgeable staff of project managers and our network of professional consultants will work closely with you to develop creative alterations and design configurations to adapt to opportunity space requirements.

Every location is different in its own way. Our Architectural plans are designed to adapt to the different space configurations and design options for each location. We offer help with the entire build-out including architectural schematics, buying materials, contractor introductions, and timelines. Our team helps you get your business up and running as soon as possible.


There are many financing options for your business. We provide 3rd party introductions to Lenders whom know our business and can become valued and trusted advisors in offering SBA and Conventional financing to you. We will also help you explore the ROBS Roll Over for Business Start-ups, which is a creative method to use your Retirement accounts to capitalize your business
